Program Coordinator Position

The Buchanan Area Senior Center is searching for a Program Coordinator. The position is responsible for the implementation, management, supervision and evaluation of all the organization’s programs. This is a full-time position at 35 hours per week and requires occasional evening and weekend hours. Our benefits include generous paid time off and a retirement plan.

We are seeking a creative, organized and outgoing individual with the following skills and strengths:

  • well-developed program development and evaluation skills

  • excellent communication skills

  • works constructively with a wide variety of people of all ages

  • performs well independently and as part of a team

  • effectively works in an office environment

  • easily transitions from office tasks to group programs

  • has a positive and cheerful disposition

  • strong writing skills

  • strong computer technology skills, particularly with the MS Office programs

  • current driver’s license
